MTPEをやってみようと思った

昨日のブログに載せたイートモ対訳の英文ですけど、

みんなの自動翻訳に和訳させ、MTPEが必要になる部分を赤字で示してみました。

以下に提示するように、目分量によると、3割程度が英文原稿を正確に反映していないようです。つまり修正を必要とする部分が3割程度。

他の7割はそのまま使えると見るのは大間違いなんですな、これが。。。

だって、MT出力の3割が間違っているということを人間翻訳者が知るために英文原稿を解釈する必要があり、そのために大きな労力と時間がかかっているから。

特許翻訳などもそうだろうけど、医学翻訳ってのは原文を読み解くのが一番大変なんだっちゃ。

　

みんなの自動翻訳の実力・・・・・。

どうみても英文原稿をMTが読み解いているとは思えないんだけどなー。今後に期待ということか。

医薬系英文の中でもかなり簡単な英文なのだから、もう少し出来が良くないと、実用化は無理じゃね？

翻訳会社の「言語資産」などのサポートがあれば良くなるものなのかな？
