In a mass balance study (Study AI447010) using 200 mg of [14C]asunaprevir solution, asunaprevir was excreted primarily in the feces as unchanged drug and metabolites. Of the total dose, approximately 84% was recovered in feces and less than 1% in urine. In the metabolite profile, the unchanged form of asunaprevir accounted for the majority of the radioactivity in human plasma at 24 hours post-dose (AUC(0-24) approximately 55% of total radioactivity).
