久しぶりにMTの性能チェック

昨日のわたくしのブログ記事をDeepLに英訳させてみました。

MTは下訳としては十分に使えるレベルになっています。

ざっとポストエディットしてみました。

わかりやすい平易な和文原稿でさえ、そのMT英訳には要修正部分が多い。

MTは下訳に使えるが、下訳を低位のメディカル翻訳者が納品レベルに仕上げるのは困難です。

医学翻訳の現役を退いて数年になるので、実態はわかりませんが、医薬品の研究開発や承認申請においてMTが本当に役立っているのだろうか。

もっと言えば、MTを使いこなせている人材はいるのだろうか。

肝機能が改善傾向を示しています。 10月には基準値の範囲内だったのに、11月20日の検査ではAST 94、ALT 156と急上昇しました。 かなりの倦怠感が3日間ほどありました。 この程度の数値でも相当なだるさが出るのだから、肝硬変に至るような肝障害になったら、動けないんじゃないかと思います。 8日間の検査入院によって、薬剤性の肝機能障害と判断されました。 その後も頻繁に血液検査が行われ、若干の上下変動はあったものの、今日の血液検査ではAST 37、ALT 38とほぼ基準値の範囲まで下がりました。	My Lliver function is showing an improving trend. もう一つの重要な指標であるMPO-ANCA。 ステロイドからタブネオスに切り替えて、10月に6.9、11月に6.1と若干上がりましたが、12月になって4.2に下がり、ステロイド3mg服用時のレベルと同等になりました。タブネオスの通常量は朝3カプセル、夕3カプセルですが、肝機能障害が生じたこともあって、11月末に朝2カプセル、夕2カプセルに減量してから、むしろMPO-ANCAが改善しました。 肝機能障害の原因がタブネオスかどうかはわかりませんが、減量したことが良い結果につながったのかもしれません。肝機能が完全に正常化したら、タブネオスを通常量に戻すのかどうか、それはドクターが判断するでしょう。	Another important laboratory parameter for me is indicator, MPO-ANCA. Once liver function has completely normalized, the doctor may instruct me to use will decide whether to return TAVNEOS again at the Tabneos to normal dosage or not.
・MPO-ANCAがこのまま推移するか、陰性化すること。 ・肝機能が完全に正常化すること。 ・肝機能障害で衰えた体力・筋力を戻すこと。 ・ステロイド離脱により顕在化したアレルギー性鼻炎が鎮静化すること。 以上を目標に治療に励みます。	My goals of treatment are as follows: - To keep The MPO-ANCA at the should remain the same level or decrease it further to become negative. - To  Lliver function should completely normalize my liver function. - To The patient should regain the strength and muscle power that have deteriorated due to liver dysfunction. - To ameliorate allergic rhinitis, which became apparent after withdrawal of steroids, should be calmed down. These are the goals of the treatment.
